Wash and Fold in Hillsborough, NJ: How Drop-Off Laundry Works at Nelson's Corner

If you're in Hillsborough and tired of spending your weekends managing laundry, Nelson's Corner Laundromat on Route 206 offers wash and fold drop-off service. Here's a clear breakdown of how it works, what it costs, and whether it makes sense for you.

The Drop-Off Process

It's straightforward. Bring your laundry in any bag or laundry basket to Nelson's Corner at 601 US-206, Suite 18, Hillsborough, NJ. The attendant weighs your order, gives you a receipt, and takes it from there. We wash, dry, and fold everything. Come back same day or next morning — your laundry is clean and folded, ready to go.

Pricing

Wash and fold service at Nelson's Corner starts at $1.00/lb — one of the most competitive rates in the area. A single person's load of 8-12 lbs runs $8-12. A family's weekly laundry of 20-30 lbs is typically $20-30.

What We Do With Your Laundry

• Wash: We use professional commercial washers with quality detergent. Cold wash available on request for delicates or bright colors.

• Dry: Fully dried in commercial dryers. No damp clothes returned.

• Fold: Everything is folded neatly. Shirts folded flat, pants folded, socks paired. You get back laundry that looks like you actually spent time folding it.

Do You Need an Appointment?

No appointment needed. Walk in any time during operating hours (7 AM to 10 PM, 7 days a week) and drop off your laundry at the counter. That's it. If you have a large order or specific timing needs, calling ahead is helpful but not required.

Special Instructions

When you drop off, let the attendant know if you have any preferences: cold-water wash for delicates, fragrance-free detergent, or items to keep separate (e.g., delicates vs. everything else). We accommodate reasonable requests at no extra charge.

Why Hillsborough Families Use This Service

We've heard two themes consistently from Hillsborough families who use wash and fold regularly: first, the sheer volume of laundry that comes with having kids makes doing it yourself exhausting. Second, the calculation of time spent vs. cost paid tips in favor of drop-off once you actually add up how long laundry takes.

At $1.00/lb, wash and fold at Nelson's Corner is affordable enough that it makes sense for most regular laundry loads — not just special occasions.
